Privacy Policy —What We Collect, What We Never Touch
Last updated: 2026-10-15
FreeChatNow is built around anonymous, registration-free chat, so this policy is short on data hunger and long on plain answers.
This Privacy Policy explains what happens to your information on FreeChatNow — the free, instant chat site at freechatnow.online. It is written to match the product: a place where you can talk to strangers without building a profile first. Read it together with our Terms of Service, which cover the rules of using the site itself. Using FreeChatNow means accepting both.
1. What We Ask For When You Chat
As little as the service can run on. Chatting as a guest involves the nickname you pick for the session, the messages you choose to send, and the technical basics any website sees: your IP address, device and browser type, and a rough regional estimate. If you decide to create an account, we store the login details you give us. If you buy coins, the payment is processed by a third-party provider and we receive a confirmation — never your full card number.
2. What We Deliberately Skip
Anonymity is the product here, not a marketing line. FreeChatNow does not require your real name, your phone number, your date of birth beyond the adulthood requirement in our terms, or access to your contacts or address book. We do not ask who you are in the real world, and we do not want your ID. This is the same promise behind our free anonymous chat with strangers: no name, no profile, just talk.
3. What Happens to Your Chat Data
Your messages exist for one reason: so the person you are talking to can read them. They are transmitted in real time to deliver the conversation — they are not a public archive, and they are not mined to build an advertising profile of you.
Two exceptions, both in the open. When someone files a report, the reported conversation's context goes to a human moderator so the report can actually be judged. And automated safety systems may scan for spam and abuse patterns to keep the platform clean. Nobody at FreeChatNow sits around reading stranger chats for entertainment.
4. Cookies and Local Storage, Honestly
FreeChatNow uses three kinds of storage in your browser. Strictly necessary cookies keep your session alive and the site secure — blocking these breaks the chat. Preference storage remembers small choices you make so the site feels the same when you come back. And aggregate analytics tell us which pages get visited and where people drop off, without building a dossier on any individual. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time; just know the necessary ones are what keep the lights on.
5. The Third Parties in the Room
A small number of service providers touch limited data so FreeChatNow can operate: payment processors when you buy coins, hosting and content-delivery infrastructure that keeps the site fast, and an analytics provider for the aggregate numbers above. Each receives only what it needs for its job, and each is bound to protect it. Links that take you off FreeChatNow lead to sites with their own policies — once you leave, this policy no longer applies.
6. How Long Anything Sticks Around
Chat data lives for a short operational window and is then cleared or reduced to anonymous aggregates. Account data stays while your account stays. Purchase records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Moderation reports and enforcement records are retained long enough to act on them and to keep repeat offenders from simply walking back in. When data is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for, it goes.
7. Your Rights: See It, Fix It, Take It, Delete It
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, receive a copy in a portable form, or have it deleted. Send any of these requests through our contact page and a real person will handle it within a reasonable time. Where the law obliges us to keep certain records — a payment trail, for example — we will tell you exactly what has to stay and why, rather than quietly refusing.
8. Keeping It Safe
Traffic to FreeChatNow is encrypted in transit, access to internal systems is limited to the people who need it, and data is held on a least-privilege basis. No online service can honestly promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise — if a breach ever affects your information, we will inform you as the law requires.
9. When This Policy Changes
This policy evolves with the product. When a change is material, we revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and make reasonable efforts to make the update visible. Continuing to use FreeChatNow after a change takes effect means accepting the revised policy.
10. Privacy Questions, Real Answers
Anything unclear in this policy, any request about your data, or any concern about how something was handled — all of it goes to the same place: the FreeChatNow contact page, or write to us at support[at]freechatnow.online. Privacy questions are answered by humans, not auto-replies.
